Manny Courier LLC – Vaccine Policy

Applies To: All employees, contractors, and subcontracted couriers engaged in medical or non-medical transport on behalf of Manny Courier LLC.

1. Purpose

To protect the health and safety of our clients, particularly those in the healthcare sector, as well as our couriers and the communities we serve. This policy outlines vaccine requirements and recommendations for employees and independent contractors of Manny Courier LLC.

2. Policy Overview

Manny Courier LLC strongly encourages all personnel involved in medical deliveries to be fully vaccinated against contagious diseases such as COVID-19, influenza, and hepatitis B, consistent with CDC guidelines and healthcare industry expectations.
Vaccination may be required for couriers entering certain client facilities (e.g., hospitals, blood banks, or labs) that mandate proof of vaccination for vendor access.
For non-medical delivery roles, vaccination is encouraged but not required unless mandated by a specific client or public health order.

3. Proof of Vaccination

If required by a client or applicable law, couriers may be asked to submit proof of vaccination or complete a health attestation.
All vaccine records will be handled in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality protocols.

4. Exemptions

Manny Courier LLC respects medical and religious exemptions in accordance with federal and state law.
Individuals seeking exemption must submit documentation supporting the request. Alternative safety measures (e.g., masking, testing) may be required.

5. Compliance with Client Requirements

Couriers assigned to clients with vaccine mandates must comply with those requirements or request reassignment to non-restricted routes.
Failure to comply may result in reassignment, suspension from client-specific work, or termination of contract if no alternative work is available.

6. Policy Updates

This policy is subject to change in response to new public health guidance, legal updates, or client requirements. All updates will be communicated via email or internal platforms.
